Men arrested after racing sports cars down Fresno highways, CHP says

FRESNO, California (KSEE/KGPE) – Two men were arrested after they were caught racing bright red sports cars down Fresno roadways Wednesday night.

According to officers, the 19-year-olds were racing at more than 100 mph down Highway 99 and 41, swerving through traffic and using the shoulder to pass.

Air 1 tracked the pair to Fashion Fair, and officers arrested them as they were pulling into Chick-fil-A.

According to CHP, the Corvette and Camaro used in the race will be impounded for 30 days.
