Card skimmer found at 2nd Abilene gas station in past week

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A card skimmer has been found at a 2nd Abilene gas station in the past week.

The most recent skimmer was found at an Allsup’s on the 2300 block of S 14th Street just before 1:00 a.m. Thursday, according to a police report. 

This gas station is the same area of town where the first skimmer was found at an Allsup’s on the 2300 block of Barrow Street Saturday

It’s currently unknown if the two skimmers are related to each other.

Police are investigating both of these as incidents of fraud/credit card abuse. 

No further information is available at this time.
