Car found submerged in water behind Naperville Police Department
According to Naperville police, the car was found submerged in a body of water known as “Lake Osborne,” located behind the police department and Naperville Fire Station No. 7.
SkyCam 9 was over the scene around 12:30 p.m. Thursday when crews could be seen staging near the water on the south Side of the lake.
It remains unclear if crews are working to pull the vehicle from the water.
Authorities say they are still in the early stages of the investigation and divers have been called to the scene to help.
Currently, it is unclear how the car ended up in the water or how long it was submerged.
