PHOTOS: Crews battle 3-alarm fire in Brentwood-Darlington neighborhood

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Crews responded to a residential fire Wednesday afternoon that impacted two homes in Southeast Portland.

Firefighters arrived in the Brentwood-Darlington neighborhood around 2:51 p.m. and quickly upgraded the incident to a three-alarm fire. Over 50 firefighters responded to the scene.

Portland Fire and Rescue reported “imminent roof collapse” on one home while crews attacked the fire from the exterior. By 3:20 p.m., the fire was extinguished.

Three adults were displaced from their homes.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
