Charles County Crime Solvers said it all started shortly after 3 p.m. on Sept. 19, when two people approached a group of juveniles in the area of Buckthorn Lane and Constitution Drive. The pair allegedly pulled out a gun and stole designer shoes from two of the victims before fleeing the area.
Just two days later, on Sept. 21, officers responded to a reported robbery in the 11800 block of Edmont Place, where they learned that several suspects approached three people before reportedly pulling out a gun and stealing a pair of designer shoes.
The group is also accused of taking a backpack before leaving the area in a dark-colored SUV.
Now, investigators are working to determine if both cases are related. Officials urge anyone with information about either robbery to call Officer J. Berry at 301-609-3282, ext 0788.
