ECHO STATE PARK, Utah (ABC4) —Summit County Search and rescue is looking for a missing Kayaker, after his family found an empty kayak.
According to the Summit County Sheriff’s Office, Summit County Search and rescue crews and law enforcement from the Utah Division of Natural Resources are responding to Echo State Park to look for a missing kayaker.
The kayaker, who has only been identified as a male in his 50s, was last seen around 4:30 p.m.
Reportedly, his family found his kayak, but it was empty. They reported him as a missing man shortly before 5:30 p.m.
At this time, the search is still ongoing. Law enforcement has not provided any additional information about the individual at this time.
