MANHATTAN (KSNT) – K-State volleyball’s Shaylee Myers has been named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week.

This is Myers’ second conference weekly award of her career, having been named the Big 12 Rookie of the Week in October 2022. She was named to the All-Big 12 Rookie Team that same year.

The senior outside hitter/opposite recorded 27 kills in last Friday’s win over No. 25 North Carolina in Chapel Hill. 27 kills in one match are both a career and season-high for Myers.

Myers leads the Big 12 and ranks sixth nationally in kills per set (4.96) and points per set (5.54) this season.

Myers and the ‘Cats will open up conference play on Friday when they host the Arizona Wildcats at 6:30 p.m.
