Son accused of stabbing father, threatening witnesses in Campbellsville

According to police, officers responded around 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 22 to a home in the 500 block of Clem Haskins Boulevard, where 72-year-old Terry Miller was found stabbed.

Court documents noted that the call originally came in as a dispute between Miller and his son, 37-year-old Terrence Miller of Campbellsville, who had a knife.

Officers arrived to find Terry outside the home, bleeding from his upper back leg, arrest records said.

Witnesses reportedly told police that Terrence chased his dad out of the home when Terry fell, and his son stabbed him. Then, Terrence was said to have run to a nearby house on Mayes Court.

According to investigators, Terrence was located and charged with first-degree assault (domestic violence) and two counts of third-degree terroristic threatening.

As they were driving by witnesses on the way to the jail, officers noted that Terrance “yelled out that he will stab them once he gets out,” the arrest citation noted.

Court records show Terrance is scheduled to be arraigned at 8 a.m. on Sept. 26.
