Around 12:30 a.m., officers responded to a complaint of UTVs being driven around Fort Smallwood Elementary School.
While responding, officers attempted to make contact with the individiauls in the school parking lot when they fled. One of th eUTVs sturck a police vehicle that was responding near the intersection of Belhaven Avenue and Poplar Ridge Road.
The driver fled the scene. The police vehicle sustained minor damage, and the officer was not injured.
