Man killed crossing busy Fresno roadway

Around 5:10 p.m., dispatch received a call that a man had been hit by a vehicle while trying to cross Clovis Avenue near Inyo Street. On scene, police found a witness performing CPR, but despite their best efforts, the man died.

According to police, he did not use the crosswalk.

The intersection of Clovis and Tulare avenues will be closed until at least 7:15 p.m.
