Units from the Columbus Police Department and Georgia State Patrol blocked 54th Street near Hillard Avenue as officers carried out activity at a residence.
An officer on the scene said the operation involved multiple agencies executing a search warrant.
A neighbor told WRBL News 3 that officers arrived about 8 a.m. By 10 a.m., the operation appeared to be winding down as several units left the area.
