Tomorrow’s forecast

Strong Storms on Tuesday night: We have seen a few random t’showers develop over part of the ArkLaTex on Sunday afternoon.  That activity will quickly end on Sunday evening.  A cluster of storms moving east along the Red River will weaken as it moves into the northern part of the area on Sunday night. A few pop-up storms could develop over the area on Monday afternoon.  The best chance of rain on Monday will mainly be over the northern half of the area.  A cold front will trigger storms to the north of our area on Tuesday.  These storms will move south through the ArkLaTex on Tuesday night and Wednesday.

Futurecast outlook for the next 36 hours

The Storm Prediction Center indicates that we will have a marginal to slight severe weather risk.  Wind will probably be our biggest severe weather concern.

Cooler air on the way!  This week will begin with highs ahead of the cold front in the low to middle 90s.  Behind the front, highs will retreat to the middle 80s.  Overnight lows will fall into the middle 60s.  The good news is that the break from the heat could continue through all of next week and next weekend.  The last half of next week will be dry and this dry weather could continue until the middle of next week.
