'Heat wave' fire in Callahan County burns 300 acres
CALLAHAN COUNTY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A grass fire in Callahan County is estimated to have burned around 300 acres as of Monday afternoon.
On September 22, a grass fire sparked in Callahan County near Finley Road and County Road 324. According to the Texas A&M Forest Service, the ‘Heat Wave’ fire has burned 300 acres and is 30% contained.
