TOPEKA (KSNT) – People were able to stop and smell the roses at the Topeka Rose Show on Saturday
The event took place at the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library. A wide variety of roses were on display for people to vote on, with the winning rose receiving the ultimate bragging rights.
“The beauty, I have seen several people kind of come in and they have not a frown, the minute they see a rose, they start smiling,” Topeka Rose Society President Bill Klecan said.
