Pair sought in connection with Bell County gas station theft investigation
BELL COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) — Troopers with Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 10 in Harlan are searching for a pair accused of stealing from Howard’s Market on Sunday morning.

Trooper Jacobs posted on Facebook that just before 9 a.m. on Sunday, two people left the gas station heading south toward US-119 in a red car after taking money out of the cash drawer at the checkout counter.

Authorities said the man waited until the store’s employee went to the bathroom before taking the money.

The man who took the money was described by KSP as 5 feet, 8 inches tall, wearing a gray Under Armour hoodie and jeans. Troopers are also looking for a woman he was reportedly with, who was described as 5 feet, 5 inches tall, with black hair with a blonde streak, wearing a black jacket that had the word “Love” on the back.

Anyone with information about the pair was asked to contact KSP Post 10 in Harlan at (606) 573-3131.
