Owensboro police arrest person of interest following overnight shots-fired investigation

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — The Owensboro Police Department has arrested a person of interest following an investigation of an overnight shots-fired call.

According to police, officers responded to the 4000 block of Mt. Vernon Drive at 11 p.m. on September 20, where a caller reported multiple bullet holes in her home.

Police say Trevor Aull, 21, was named as a person of interest in the case, and state police took Aull into custody shortly after the firearm discharge complaint. Police say Aull did not cooperate with detectives and was booked into the Daviess County Detention Center.

Charges:

• Enhanced trafficking in more than five pounds of marijuana
• Using restricted ammunition during a felony
• Disregarding a stop sign
• Possession of drug paraphernalia

The shots-fired investigation remains ongoing.
