Robbins talked with 27 Sports Director Kole Emplit about his 12th year with the program, early-season success, and expectations from a young squad.
He also noted his group with multiple international student-athletes on the roster.
“We’re trying to find the best players we can and to get the most talent,” Robbins said. “We’ve been fortunate the last several years to get really talented kids overseas, and we make that a priority. Word of mouth then gets out, and it’s helped open the door for us for guys in the future and to expand our recruiting footprint.”
Robbins was named the 2023 Big 12 Coach of the Year.
