TOPEKA (KSNT) – Topekans are uniting in the fight against fentanyl.

The Kaylee’s Dad is Mad group held a rally at the steps of the capitol building on Saturday. The aim of the event was spreading awareness about how dangerous fentanyl is. There were multiple speakers, including those who have lost loved ones to overdoses.

“We lost out daughter and three other family members to fentanyl,” said Amber Saale-Burger, Founder of Kaylee’s Dad is Mad. “When we see people out here it gives us hope for our community.”

There was also free Narcan at the rally.
