SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4)

— Southbound I-215 West in Salt Lake City is closed due to a hazmat incident, according to the Utah Dept. of Transportation (UDOT).

Southbound I-215 West is closed at mile post 20/California Ave. Drivers must exit at California Ave. or use I-15 as an alternate route, according to UDOT.

“Expect heavy delays,” UDOT posted on X.
