On Thursday the Church Point Police Department announced Thibodeaux’s death and said it was due to illness.
Officials said the procession will begin at Duhon’s Funeral Home on South Broadway Street at 10:30 a.m. They will head down South Broadway to Robert Street then turn left onto South Main Street and proceed North to Rue
Iry Lejuene. Then the procession will make a right turn to proceed through the Flags and arrive at the Church.
The Church Point Department encourages the community to participate by standing along the the route to show support for Thibodeaux’s dedication and service to the town.
