JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Capitol police are investigating after a 17-year-old was killed in Jackson.
Bailey Martin, spokesperson for the Mississippi Department of Public Safety (MDPS), said the homicide occurred in the area of Sunnyvale Drive and Sandalwood Place just before 9:30 p.m. on September 19, 2025.
No further information was provided about the homicide.
