Alabama law enforcement searching for missing 7-year-old boy

ALEXANDER CITY, Ala. (WIAT) — The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency issued an Emergency Missing Child Alert for a 7-year-old boy who was reportedly last seen in Alexander City on Thursday.

According to the ALEA, Jerico Tyrone Watkins was wearing a green T-shirt, blue jeans and blue and white shoes while on Thomas Road around 4:45 p.m. Thursday. Watkins may be riding in a black vehicle.

The ALEA stated Watkins is 3-foot-1, weighs around 85 pounds and has brown eyes and black hair. Those with information on where Watkins is are asked to call 911 or the Alexander City Police Department at 256-794-1931.
