Twenty-nine-year-old Stillman Cunningham was sentenced on Thursday to 25 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for attempted murder and 14 years in prison for harassing a witness.
Cunningham pleaded guilty earlier this year
According to court records, Cunningham, who’s originally from Las Vegas, told police he stabbed the victim because he, “just wanted her to stop screaming.”
The sentenced was handed down by Winnebago County Judge Jennifer Clifford.
