CULLMAN,
Taking top honors was Devyn Heald of Vinemont High School, who claimed first place and earned a spot at the State Beef Cook-off in April. Other standout winners included Resse Guthrie of West Point (second), Katie Holmes of Vinemont (third), Fuller Williams of Good Hope (fourth) and Jose Lopez of Good Hope (fifth).
The celebration didn’t stop with cooking. Macie Garmon of the Cullman Area Technology Academy was named Most Outstanding FCCLA Member in Cullman County, with Baylee Dye of Cold Springs earning second place. Garmon will be formally recognized at the Farm-City Banquet in November.
The event was made possible by the dedication of FCCLA advisers across the county: Stephanie Blair (Cold Springs), Amie Veal (Cullman Area Technology Academy), Whitney Haynes (Fairview), Amanda Williams (Good Hope), Amy Chambers (Hanceville), Renee Lee (West Point) and Madison Sapp (Vinemont).
