D4vd SF concert, remaining tour dates, canceled amid ongoing investigation

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Singer D4vd’s show at the Warfield in San Francisco Friday night has reportedly been canceled following the grisly discovery of a dismembered teenage girl in a vehicle registered to him. The singer has also canceled all remaining dates of his tour, according to a report in TMZ.

In addition to the SF show, D4vd was set to perform at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles Saturday night. As of Friday morning, the Warfield website shows the event as canceled and the event page for the Saturday show has been removed from the Greek Theater website.

The event page for an upcoming event with the singer at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles has also been taken down

D4vd, real name David Anthony Burke, canceled two dates in Seattle earlier this week.

The 20-year-old singer has been under increased scrutiny following the discovery of the remains of a missing teenage girl named Celeste Rivas. Celeste was reported missing on April 5, 2024 from Lake Elsinore, Calif.

TMZ previously reported that the singer and Celeste had matching “Shhh” tattoos on their right index fingers. TMZ noted that the tattoo is not unique. Popstar Rihanna is known to have a similar tattoo, along with actress Lindsay Lohan, and singer Lily Allen.

However, according to Variety, unconfirmed photos have surfaced online of D4vd with the victim. KRON4’s sister station KTLA is reporting that the singer met D4vd online.

Celeste’s remains, described by authorities as a “head and torso,” were found in a bag in the trunk of an impounded Tesla at a Hollywood tow yard on Sept. 8. The Tesla had been at the tow yard for about five days after being reported as abandoned in the Hollywood Hills.

Los Angeles Police Department detectives responded to the lot after an employee reported a foul stench coming from the vehicle. The teen’s body was severely decomposed when it was discovered, according to a medical examiner’s report.

Celeste Rivas’ mother told TMZ the teen had a boyfriend named “David.”

The singer, who was on tour for his second album “Withered” when the news broke, is best known for the singles “Here With Me,” and the eyebrow raising, “Romantic Homicide.” A deluxe edition of “Withered,” was due to be released on Friday. However, according to Rolling Stone, the album is being shelved amid the ongoing investigation.
