The events, titled ‘West Ridge LIVE’, are planned to be held every Thursday until November 20. Attendees will be able to listen to live music at the Food Court and grab dinner or drinks from Iron Rail Brewing or Ta Co. Topeka.
“Our hope with this series is to drive more traffic to the mall in support of our tenants while also restoring a strong sense of community,” said West Ridge Mall Director of Operations Casey Richardson.
Richardson said West Ridge Mall will hold a special kickoff before the first concert at 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 25. She also said the mall would be holding a grand reopening for the children’s play area. The play area has been relocated to a vacant storefront on the upper level near the food court and restrooms.
“Our families deserve a place where kids can safely play and parents can relax while enjoying their visit to the mall,” Richardson said. “Relocating and refreshing the play area allows us to continue serving the community even as redevelopment work moves forward. The Grow & Go Playground reflects our commitment to keeping West Ridge a welcoming place for all ages.”
