Frightmares features over nine haunted attractions alongside Halloween-themed entertainment, and all of Lagoon’s foods, rides, and games are still available during the event.
If you are a scaredy cat and don’t want to be scared by characters in the park, you can purchase a “No Scare” glow stick at guest services or other merchandise locations for $1.
This season’s Frightmares opened on September 5, and it is running until November 9. A Frightmares single-day passport is $109.95 plus tax at the Lagoon ticket windows, but if you buy your ticket online on Lagoon’s website, you can get $5 off a single-day passport.
You can also buy a Time Warp Fast Pass to skip lines for Lagoon’s haunted houses. The wristband includes short lines to Malevolent Mansion, Frightening Frisco, Nightwalk, Nightmare Midway, and Fun House of Fear, plus two extra passes for houses of your choice so you can experience two of your favorites twice. The fast pass costs $30 for Saturdays, and $25 for Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Lagoon season passport holders get $2 off.
The majority of Frightmares’ attractions are included in the price of admission, but there are a few that include additional fees, which will be noted.

2025 Frightmares features a new, family-friendly photo area: the Boolevard. It boasts different photo locations with several themes. It is located east of the Fire Dragon, and it’s open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. “Strike a pose in any one of the different photo opportunities and make some BOO-tiful memories,” Lagoon’s website reads.
There are a variety of kid-friendly attractions located in the Pioneer Village area of the park. For all of these attractions, children must be under 54 inches tall to participate.
In Kiddieland, there are also “no scare zones” that the entire family can enjoy.
Seance, the Dark Ritual is a fully immersive haunted experience, blending live performance, intense physical effects, and unexpected audience participation, according to Lagoon’s website. “In this multi-sensory experience, guests are thrust into a story about a witch and a cursed family. Not for the faint of heart, participants quickly learn that the devil is in the details,” the website describes the show.
Tickets for Seance cost an additional fee, $17 or $15 for Lagoon season passport holders. You can purchase tickets near the entrance of the show, which is northeast of the Game Time Arcade. Tickets go on sale 45 minutes prior to the first scheduled show. You can find showtimes on the Lagoon website.
Frightmares features the following haunted houses.
Finally, characters will be roaming the park as part of the Streetmosphere. The website says that most of the characters are friendly, but some “bring a bit of fright.” Parental guidance is suggested.
