The study analyzed over 1,000 phone-related search terms over the past year, finding that Texas residents make 412.28 phone-related searches per 100,000 residents each month. This is significantly higher than the national average of 309.41 searches per 100,000 residents.
“When people encounter a problem with their phone, it triggers real stress. In states with high search volumes, this suggests a collective anxiety about staying connected,” explains Dr. Colleen Ehrnstrom, a clinical psychologist specializing in cognitive behavioral therapy.
