Saints Injury Report: Fuaga and Young DNP for the second day in a row

NEW ORLEANS — An optimistic start to week three preps has been met with concern.

Guard Trevor Penning was limited at practice on Wednesday while recovering from a turf toe injury that he suffered in their preseason opener against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Penning was downgraded to DNP on Thursday.

Wide receiver Trey Palmer, who is dealing with a hamstring injury, was downgraded to DNP, while Devaughn Vele was added to the injury report with a hip injury.

For the second day in a row, right tackle Taliese Fuaga (knee/back) and defensive end Chase Young (calf) did not practice.

Offensive lineman Dillon Radunz (toe) did not practice on Wednesday and has already been ruled out for the Saints’ week three matchup with Seattle. Radunz has started the first two games of the season.

The New Orleans Saints (0-2) will face the Seattle Seahawks Sunday at 3:05 p.m.
