The first crash was reported around 1:45 p.m. in the 2800 block of Hwy. 28 East, where a vehicle drove into the front of a bank, according to the Pineville Police Department.
While officers were headed to that call, one of them was involved in a separate accident in the 3000 block of Hwy. 28 East.
Both accidents remain under investigation. Authorities said the roadway has since been cleared and traffic is flowing normally.
