Dutch Bros Coffee was founded by two actual brothers who began experimenting with a double-head espresso machine and 100 pounds of coffee beans in Grants Pass, Oregon, in 1992.
“What can customers expect from their local Dutch Bros shop? A typical visit will feature upbeat music, energetic broistas (Dutch Bros’ version of baristas) and outstanding speed, quality and service,” the drive-thru coffee chain said in a news release on Thursday.
The first Los Angeles location, located at 3726 S. Figueroa St. near the USC campus, will serve customers via a walk-up window and is on track to open in Q4 of 2025, Dutch Bros said.
The caffeine purveyor, with about 1,000 locations nationwide, is known for its customizable and high-powered specialty drinks, including the Dutch Bros Rebel energy drink.
