Following a statement in May announcing that it would be “taking a step back,” Love Your Melon is back, with its ownership now in the hands of one of its original founders.
In a press release sent to 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS on Thursday, it was announced that Zachary Quinn, one of the original creators of Love Your Melon, had reacquired ownership from Win Brands Group.
“This is personal. It always has been,” said Quinn. “We started this company in our college apartment with a simple idea to give a hat to every child battling cancer. That mission still drives everything we do. Now, with my family by my side, we’re bringing LYM back to its roots and building toward something even bigger. This isn’t just a comeback, it’s a calling, and we’re just getting started.”
With ownership back in Quinn’s hands, the brand will now be known as “LYM” following its relaunch later this fall. Quinn promises that the “buy one, give one” program, which provides a beanie to a child battling cancer, will return, featuring both classic and new products.
The first drop of new products will begin on Monday, Sept. 22, at 10 a.m. Central. Once available, the products can be purchased HERE.
