Acadia Parish issues burn ban due to dry conditions
CROWLEY, La. (KLFY) — Acadia Parish has issued a burn ban for the parish.
Parish President Beau Petitjean declared a state of emergency and issued the ban dated Wednesday, Sept. 17.
Effective immediately, all outdoor burning activities are prohibited throughout Acadia Parish. The only exception allowed is the use of BBQ grills. No other types of outdoor burning are permitted under this order.

This burn ban will remain in effect until further notice and will be rescinded only when conditions improve, officials said.
