BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — The Monroe County Community School Corporation (MCCSC) will host the Monroe County College Fair on Thursday, Sept. 18, giving local students and families a chance to connect with representatives from more than 20 colleges and universities.
The event will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Switchyard Park Pavilion, 1601 S. Rogers St. Admission is free and open to all area students.
Each participating institution will have a representative available to answer questions and provide information. To streamline the process, students are encouraged to register in advance at www.strivefair.com to receive a personal barcode, which can be scanned by college reps at the event.
Colleges and organizations expected to attend include Indiana University, Purdue University, Ball State University, Ivy Tech Community College, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Butler University, DePauw University, the University of Southern Indiana, University of Evansville, University of Indianapolis, Wabash College, Xavier University, the University of Alabama, and several others.

MCCSC serves about 10,000 students in 23 schools across Monroe County and offers a wide range of academic programs, including STEAM and EARTH curricula, a performing arts academy, International Baccalaureate schools, dual language immersion, and college and career pathways.
