Albany State director of safety sworn in as president of the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police
COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — It was announced on Tuesday that Anita Allen was sworn in as president of the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police.

Allen is the police chief and director of campus safety at Albany State and is a 24-year veteran.

She has served as police chief at Albany State for three years now and was previously the public safety director for Fort Valley State University, according to a GACP.

GACP says Allen has a Doctorate degree in Practical Theology from Andersonville Theological Seminary and has degrees from Grace Bible College and Seminary and North Carolina College of Theology.
