SpaceX announces Starlink satellite mission for Sept. 17
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A Falcon 9 rocket launch is slated to take place Wednesday morning from the Vandenberg Space Force Base.

SpaceX says 24 Starlink V2 Mini satellites will be sent into a polar, low Earth orbit at about 8:43 a.m.

This is the 83rd mission in support of SpaceX’s Starlink mega constellation so far in 2025.

SpaceX says larger Starlink Version 3 satellites will begin being launched from the space force base in 2026.
