PADUCAH, Ky. (FOX 56) — A Paducah man faces drug trafficking charges after the police said they found around 20 pounds of synthetic marijuana Friday morning inside his home.

said detectives arrested Tony Jones, 48, at his home on Center Street.

Authorities said Jones has a lengthy criminal history, including past convictions for assault and organized crime.

LATEST KENTUCKY NEWS:

At the time of his arrest, the police said he was already on probation for a prior trafficking conviction.

Jones is now facing charges of trafficking synthetic drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia and was booked into the McCracken County Regional Jail.

Court records show he was assigned a $10,000 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in court for a hearing at 1 p.m. on Sept. 23.
