‘Online October’ to bring learning straight to your home at UAHT

HOPE/TEXARKANA, Ark. (KTAL/KMSS) – The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana (UAHT) announced a month-long initiative, “Online October,” to make learning accessible for aspiring students from the comfort of their own homes.

“Whether you’re a creative soul, an aspiring entrepreneur, a budding writer, or simply curious to try something new, Online October offers something for everyone,” a press release stated. “Each class is designed to be interactive, beginner-friendly, and fun, all while building practical skills you can use right away.”

Courses include:

• Introduction to Journaling – October 5
• 50 Money-Making Side Hustles for Teens – October 5
• Be a Better Writer – October 6
• Beginner’s Guide to ChatGPT – October 7
• Beginner’s Guide to Starting a Free Blog – October 8
• Instant Piano – October 13
• Instant Guitar – October 14

“UAHT is committed to providing accessible and innovative learning opportunities for our community,” said Community Education Coordinator Racie Poindexter. “Online October is a chance for people of all ages to discover new passions, strengthen skills, and connect with others, all from the comfort of home.”
