Lafayette police find missing 7-year-old boy

LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Police in Tippecanoe County are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing 7-year-old boy who has disappeared.

The Lafayette Police Department is investigating the disappearance of a 7-year-old who was last seen around 3:40 p.m. Tuesday near 17th Street in Lafayette. He was reportedly last seen wearing a blue shirt, khaki shorts and a Spider-Man backpack.

Anyone with information on the boy’s whereabouts is being asked to immediately call 911 or the Lafayette Police Department at (765) 807-1200. To remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at (317) 262-TIPS.
