NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Officers with the New Orleans Police Department are investigating a fatal shooting in the Milneburg neighborhood on Tuesday, Sept. 16.
According to the NOPD, officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 2400 block of Mexico Street around 9:45 a.m., where they found a man who had been shot.
He was taken to a hospital by EMS, where he later died.
NOPD officers said the shooting was later determined to have taken place in the 6300 block of Arts Street.
