Officials with the Mississippi Department of Public Safety (MDPS) said the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) was notified on September 15, 2025, to be on the lookout for Brice Michael Kane, 68. He was wanted in Crittenden County, Arkansas.

A short time later, troopers said they observed a vehicle matching the description traveling southbound on Interstate 55 in Canton. Troopers initiated a traffic stop and arrested Kane without incident.

Investigators said Kane had removed his ankle monitor and is awaiting extradition back to Arkansas.
