2 women, 1 man fatally shot in San Jose Tuesday morning 

The San Jose Police Department received numerous calls reporting gunshots being fired and a woman yelling for help in the 200 block of Chynoweth Avenue at approximately 12:26 a.m. 

Arriving officers found a woman suffering from at least one gunshot wound and took her to the hospital, where she later died. 

Officers found two other shooting victims, a man and a woman, inside a residence. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The male victim was taken to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and died. 

Police believe the suspect, who has not been identified, fled before authorities arrived.

SJPD said in a press conference that this shooting was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the community. However, a suspect has not yet been arrested.

The Santa Clara County Office of the Medical Examiner, according to police, will release the victims’ identities.
