LIVINGSTON, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – One of the two victims shot near Livingston High School football stadium has died from his injuries, turning the investigation into a homicide, the Livingston Police Department announced.
According to police, the evening of Aug. 29, they responded to a report of two males being shot near Main and Park streets, near the Livingston High School football stadium.
Responding officers found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds and had them transported to an area trauma center for treatment. One of the victims was eventually released from the hospital.

Weeks later, on Sept. 10, investigators say the second victim who remained in the hospital succumbed to his injuries.
Livingston Police announced Saturday the case is now being investigated as a homicide. The 14-year-old suspect faces charges of homicide, robbery, and gang enhancements.
