Prayer vigil for Charlie Kirk held in Aiken
AIKEN, S.C. (WJBF) – People gathered to hold a prayer vigil for conservative activist Charlie Kirk in Aiken on Monday.

The prayer vigil was organized by the Aiken County GOP. Dozens of mourners crowded Laurens Street for the event that began at 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 15. Many there brought American flags and signs in support of Kirk.

Kirk, 31, was fatally shot on Sept. 10 at an event being held at The University of Utah. His funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 21 in Glendale, Arizona.
