Paving planned this week in Shenandoah
SHENANDOAH – Some streets in town will be paved this week.
Milling and paving, curb to curb, will begin on West Poplar from Main to West, the 100 block of East Oak, and the 300 block of West Oak beginning Monday, according to Shenandoah Borough Police.
Borough council members were out Sunday placing notices on vehicles along other streets, including Furnace Street at the entrance to Turkey Run, Gilbert from Centre to Lloyd, Chestnut from Centre to Lloyd, and Coal from Chestnut to Vine.
The notices warn that vehicles may be towed.
No police-issued No Parking signs have been issued on the latter streets as of midday Sunday.
