According to the Rockford Police Department, officers were called to the roundabout at Kishwaukee Street and Airport Drive at 2:42 a.m.
Police said a car with three occupants had crashed into a wall at the roundabout.
Ciana Talmage, a rear-seat passenger, was later pronounced dead at a local hospital at 3:19 a.m, Winnebago County Chief Deputy Coroner Matt Lane reported.
