According to the Rockford Police Department, the 15-year-old crashed the car into a tree in the 1900 block of Oregon Avenue at 4:06 a.m.
Police said the 15-year-old female driver suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash. Later, authorities confirmed that all three occupants were listed in stable condition at local hospitals.
The driver has been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, transportation of alcohol, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and other traffic offenses.
