A high school football game between Benton and North Little Rock was canceled at halftime Friday night after a shooting in the stadium bleachers left one parent injured, officials said.The Benton School District said the parent was struck by a bullet and transported to a hospital. Their condition was not immediately released.
All students and staff were reported safe, and those in attendance were either picked up by parents or transported home on district buses.
