Kentucky art and writing contest opens for submissions
HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — A statewide art and writing contest for Kentucky students is open for submissions.

The Jim Claypool Art and Conservation Writing contests educate students on soil, water, forestry and wildlife conservation.

Conservation districts around the state will also recognize students.

This year’s theme is “Kentucky wetlands up close.”

Kentucky students in grades 6 through 12 are eligible to compete in the writing contest. Students up to grade 5 can participate in the art contest.

Entries must be submitted by Monday, December 1st.
