SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Tyler Robinson, the suspect who allegedly shot and killed Charlie Kirk was arrested on Thursday, Sept. 11 and his initial appearance for is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Tuesday, September 16. The hearing will be virtual, and Robinson will appear remotely.

Tyler Robinson, 22, was arrested in Washington County, Utah, on aggravated murder, a first-degree felony; felony discharge of a firearm – causing serious bodily injury, a first-degree felony; and obstruction of justice – capital/first-degree felony conduct, a second-degree felony.
Earlier today, investigators roped off the area in Washington City where Robinson lived. Officials also had what appears to be the suspect’s car towed at around 5:30 p.m.
Charlie Kirk’s widow Erika Kirk addressed the public for the first time on Turning Point USA’s social media channels. She said that he loved her and his children, and that he was the perfect father and the perfect husband. She also said that his family was the greatest joy in his life.
